Peelander-Z posted our Hot Springs poster design on their Facebook page and we were shocked by how many people had requested prints of their own. Due to overwhelming demand, we decided to quickly run a limited edition print of the festival poster, which you can get at this link.
Here is the killer poster design…
If you knew me in the late 90s, you know that I love releasing music. In fact, I got into making movies because it reminded me of the joys of making and releasing music. My Mad Tiger co-director, Michael Haertelin, and I even have a band called “Kill Fee” and we released a seven-inch record that sold dozens of copies.
Today, I’m happy to announce the coolest aspect of Mad Tiger’s release – the soundtrack! It’s no ordinary soundtrack. It’s also the new record from one of my favorite bands: “Joy Wants Eternity!”
My co-director and I were able to bring a lot of our favorite artists together to help us make the best film we could. While we were editing our film, we were using the music of “Joy Wants Eternity” to guide the emotional cues of our rough edits. After doing some Facebook stalking, I was able to track down the members of the band and they agreed to write and record our original score!
They did such an amazing job with the music that we collectively decided to release it as both the soundtrack of the film and the next full-length record from “Joy Wants Eternity.” We even took an extra step to ensure we’d lose money by pressing an awesome limited edition LP picture disc. The design can be seen below.
The LP is shipping in mid-October. It’s up for pre-sale now and comes with a free digital download! Stock is very limited (250 pieces total), so reserve one if you’d like one! Orders will ship mid-October. The album won’t be released on iTunes or Spotify until 2016. Peelander-Z will also be carrying very limited copies (and by limited, I mean like 10 copies limited) on their upcoming Fall tour. Here are the tour dates!

Please remember that the LP is music from the band “Joy Wants Eternity.” There are no Peelander-Z tracks on the LP. It is instrumental rock music that will give you chills and make you cry. It’s incredible. One of my favorite records of all time. And I have a lot of records.
Today we are happy to announce that our first sneak preview screening will be at the Hot Springs Documentary Festival in Hot Springs, Arkansas. If you live on or near Hot Springs, you’ll be able to catch the movie before it’s released!
We are screening on October 16 at 8:00 p.m. at Low Key Arts (118 Arbor Street, Hot Springs, Arkansas).
A Q&A will follow with Peelander-Yellow, Jonathan Yi, and Michael Haertlein. Peelander-Yellow will also be doing some live painting at the venue and will be transforming the green Low Key Arts building to, I assume, yellow.
